It is open to anyone that lives in Oak Run.
Horseshoes of Oak Run is a “handicapped” league that starts throwing once a week in late September and culminates in March with a tournament among all members. Handicapping allows all participates to compete on a relatively equal basis, regardless of how good they are. Each week when the league meets, we throw three rounds of horseshoes. Each individual throws two rounds and keeps score on one round. Standings are kept and handicaps are adjusted as the season goes along.
